Mayer & Company

John Mayer is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and producer from Fairfield, Connecticut. The fellow Berklee College of Music attendee began his musical career in 1997 when he moved to Atlanta with Clay Cook and began to play local clubs as a two-man band. Mayer began performing by himself following the bands breakup and gained a following as a solo act. He gained international recognition following the release of his first EP, Inside Wants Out, and his first two studio albums titled Room for Squares and  Heavier Things.

After Mayer met former Grateful Dead member Bob Weir while guest hosting the The Late Late Show; Mayer and Weir formed the band now known as Dead & Company. He joined the band for a well received Eastern U.S. tour which began in October 2015 and continued well into the 2016 year. Now Mayer is touring for his solo career but fans are still hoping that they can hear live performances of songs that he wrote and performed with his fellow Dead & Company band members.
