The begins on August 12th at the Royal Theatre in British Columbia, and will come to an end on September 19th at the Hamilton Place in Ontario, Canada. Lang’s History of Success

In 1988, K.D Lang was recognized when she preformed at the closing ceremonies of the Winter Olympics. She then was chosen to collaborate with Roy Orbison, a song called “Crying”. The collaboration won them a Grammy Award for Best Country Collaboration With Vocals in 1989. Due to the songs success, Lang received the Entertainer of the Year award for the next three years. She also won two awards for Female Vocalist of the Year. Her solo debut album, Shadowland, was named Album of the Year by the Canadian Country Music Association in 1988. Her single “Full Moon Full of Love” from her album Absolute Torch and Twang,  became a number one hit on the RPM Country chart in Canada. Her ninth studio album Hymns of the 49th Parallel went platinum after selling over 100,000 copies in Canada. Her latest work has been in 2016, with a Canadian/American music group that consists of two other artists, Neko Case and Laura Veirs. The band released an album and soon after went on tour in over 20 cities.
